2007-02-20 Site Update
Spam, Spam and more Spam…
I am still dealing with comment spam - not had too much time lately to invest in the site. As you all see, the time HAS come for change, and change will happen. I am not sure what will change - I have no plans to remove the pages that people are updating on a regular basis. What will change is the layout of the main page (http://blogg.com). I will put more content up - link to more sites that are necessary, and try to be cool while doing this.

Nothing new:
I have not had much time lately to devote to the site. Things still seem to be running well. I got a request for some sort of counter for each weblog - I am looking into this (when I can). 07-12-2006 Site Update
Pruning:
I have thinned out our community by over 300 accounts (no active accounts were deleted, just unused accounts more than 2 months old). I am still in the process of cleaning up, and will re-open weblog creation when this is complete.
State of the blogg:
So far this site has been running well, with a few minor bugs as of yet to be worked out. I will plan a sitewide upgrade in the near future (downtime should be less than a few hours - more on that at a later time).
Site Search:
I have had a Google Site Search on the homepage, and it does not seem to be finding what it should be, So I have added a Yahoo Site Search. Both searches are now there. Please try them out, and shoot me some feedback if you want!
Comments:
I have been getting quite a bit of comment spam lately, and because of that I have banned a few more IPs. I cannot monitor each users weblog for comment spam, but if you are getting spammed, please let me know, and I will do what I can to block it.
Thoughts:
I believe that this site is our site. I would like to implement features that will tie us together (if we want…). I am not quite sure on how to do this, but I do know that slow and steady will be my mantra while I contemplate this. I don’t want to just start installing add-ins willy-nilly. Any suggestions are always welcome, either as a comment to this post, or an email to me (rusty AT blogg DOT com).
