03-01-2006 Site Update
Invite system:
We have enabled the invite system. This means that weblog creation is no longer wide open to the world. All registered users should have a few invites to pass out (located under Manage->Invites). We are doing this so that the site can be fine-tuned a bit, and as a social experiment of sorts. So feel free to pass out your invites to whomever you feel might want one. You will all get 1 invite added to your account every 30 days to keep things interesting.
If anyone did NOT get any invites, just shoot me an email ( rusty AT blogg DOT com ) and I’ll hook you up.

hey rusty. my blogg is saying that i have used all my invites but the person i invited didn’t get the invie. could you help me? kp x x
Hi Katie-
It looks like the invite you sent out might have had an invalid email address. It almost looks like there are 2 email addresses back to back where one should be. I went ahead and gave you a few more invites, so give it a try again, and let me know if you have any more problems.

Your username is tied to your weblog URL (http://redthm.blogg.com/). Once the weblog is created, there is no way to change your username/URL without creating a new weblog (that I know of - If i find out otherwise, I will let you know). If this is not what you are talking about, let me know-

I can deactivate your weblog. To do so, please email me at: webmaster AT blogg DOT com
Make sure that you email me from the email address you created the weblog from, with a message that you want your weblog deactivated. I do this to protect our users from someone saying they are someone they are not!
As soon as I get the email (might be this evening - I am at work now…) I will deactivate your weblog, and send you another invite to create another weblog with the name of your choice.
