01-11-2006 Site Update
Blogg.com has been running on WordPress for a little over 4 days now. As of this post, we have 76 registered users! I have gotten NO feedback so far (good or bad), so I will assume that everyone is happy for the most part. It does look like there are quite a few accounts that have been created that have never been updated. I understand that sometimes it takes a while to get started, but at some point there will be an automatic account deletion for those who have NEVER updated their accounts after a set period of time (2-4 weeks should be enough time).
The only major issue I am aware of is the password protecting feature of posts. I have not had much time to look at this, but I am sure that it is fixable. I will put it on my to-do list for the weekend.

i just started blogging a few days ago and am fairly green when it comes to this HTML code stuff, but i noticed a few strange things happening.
for one, whenever i would set parameters for the color of a text, it would work just fine, until i edited the site in any other way.
I finally solved the problem by changing my account setting to NOT view in the RICH TEXT format.
Not sure if it was operator error, or a glitch. I had a friend of mine try on their computer on a totally new site, and they experienced the same issue…

I will see what I can do about the text formatting… I am VERY new to WordPress, and have a LOT to learn! I will hopefully find a good answer for you soon.

Update on the text formatting.
I am seeing the same thing that you are with colors and the Rich Text Editor.
When you use the Standard Text Editor (not the default), text color formatting works, but as soon as you re-enable the Rich Text Editor, and either view the HTML code, or save the post, all color formatting goes away.
This is an issue that I have not found an answer for as of yet. It seems to be an issue with WordPress in general. I will keep searching. In the meantime I will add this to the “site-problems” page.
